Dean Dickinson

BSc (Hons.) Ost. M. GOsC DCO
Classical & Cranial Osteopath

Dean undertook a degree in osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) and a postgraduate diploma at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy, Maidstone (JWCCO). This has allowed strict entry onto the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Dean has undertaken many other courses around the UK, USA and Europe in classical osteopathic philosophy & technique and cranial & visceral technique from teachers all over the world. He has chaired the ICO Conference on Mechanics of Posture and has been lecturing both undergraduates and postgraduates on Technique and Classical Osteopathic Philosophy at JWCCO, The British School of Osteopathy and SIOM. Dean is now coming to the end of another functional medicine degree at Brunel University.

Dean continues to teach Osteopaths and Physiotherapists in the UK, Europe and Internationally.

Dean has run a successful multi-disciplinary clinic in Orpington, Kent before deciding to setup home and clinic in sunny Worthing over 8 years ago. He has gained a reputation quickly amongst health visitors and midwives as one of very few practitioners locally proficient in paediatric osteopathy.

Dean has undertaken many further postgraduate qualifications in paediatric health, cranial osteopathy, medical acupuncture, exercise and rehabilitation therapy, electrotherapy, Pilates and Swiss ball training. It was Dean’s desire to set up a clinic in Worthing of truly exceptional practitioners with one common goal - to provide excellent service to aid your recovery as quickly as possible.

Lesley Suter

Registered Osteopath & Homeopath

Lesley originally trained as a medical microbiologist, and spent 9 years working in hospital pathology laboratories in Guildford, and then in Worthing. Due to an experience with her children and husband she decided to study at the College of Homoeopathy, Regent’s College, London between 1987-1991, and then doing further post-graduate studies for 2 years at the College of Practical Homoeopathy in London. She obtained registration with the Society of  Homoeopaths in 1993. Lesley currently teachs at the South Downs School of Homoeopathy in Chichester, having been a member of staff there since it opened in 1997.

In practice, Lesley shared some patients with an osteopath, where they both noticed that the patients improved much faster than usual while having treatment with both therapies. This caused her to undertake a 4-year course in osteopathy at the Maidstone College of Osteopathy under the guidance of John Wernham. Mr Wernham was trained by John Martin Littlejohn, who founded the British School of Osteopathy, and brought osteopathy to the UK, having been taught by Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of osteopathy, in the U.S.A.

Over the years Lesley has undertaken further studies with the Sutherland Cranial College, and also studied James Jealous’ Biodynamic Approach to cranial osteopathy.

Lesley is registered with the General Osteopathic Council; and a member of the Institute of Classical Osteopathy, the British Osteopathic Association, and the Sutherland Society.

Lesley is recognised by the Simply Health Group and AxAPPP for both homoeopathy and osteopathy, and BUPA recognised for osteopathy. She enjoy treating people of all ages, from pregnancy to the elderly.
